Note On Picking Good Passwords
As a Trusted Servant of the Greater New York Region, it is your Responsibility to ensure that your email does not become compromised. The privacy and anonymity of those that contact us, not to mention damage done to the Region, is a risk, here.
PICK GOOD PASSWORDS! That cannot be stated enough! With autofill on most browsers, as well as software that helps to store passwords, it is easy to have long, secure passwords. Use passwords that are AT LEAST eight (8) characters in length, and DON’T USE ANY WORD THAT YOU CAN FIND IN A DICTIONARY!
Don’t use proper names, significant historical dates, or even slightly mispeled words (the misspelling there was deliberate).
BAD PASSWORDS ARE DANGEROUS!
