Welcome to the Greater New York Region of Narcotics Anonymous Web Site
NOTE: This is a Test Version of the GNYR Site!
The theme is deliberately designed to mimic the current site.
This is the index, or “Home” page for the entire site. The row of “tabs” along the top of this page will take you to the “Home Page” for each individual sub section. The logo in the upper left corner will always return you to this page.
Search For An NA Meeting
This is the inaugural issue of the new Greater New York Regional newsletter: Visions of Hope
After coming to NA, one of the things I learned about myself was that I was a goal-oriented person. I was a goal-oriented person before coming to NA. In my active addiction, the goal was the drugs. Finding ways and means to get more. It got to a point, it did not matter so much what I had to do, how long it took, if I was tired, what the weather was like, or any of that. I was at point A, and the drugs was at point B. My goal was to get from point A to point B, what I did to get there, really did not matter. I was motivated to do whatever I had to because there was something in it for me.
