Greater New York Region is searching for itself! We want an identity, and we think that you know who we are!
This is a call to all Members, from all Groups, from all over Greater New York Region, to submit your ideas for:
- A “Catchphrase,” like “The Empire State” or “A New York State of Mind” (We can’t use either of those –they are taken. They’re just examples).
- A Logo. Currently, we use the classic NA logo. We think that we can come up with something a bit more reflective of New York.
- A color theme. What set of colors would work well for us?
The Greater New York Region Identity Ad Hoc Committee is currently soliciting ideas for any one (or all three) of the above, from anyone that is a member of the Greater New York Region.
There aren’t many rules, but the committee will take things like copyright, the Fellowship Intellectual Property Trust (FIPT) and just plain good taste into account. Please think carefully about your submission.
Other than that, send us what you like, in whatever form you wish. We will take care of digitizing (if necessary) or arranging the work.
We would like to have the submissions in as soon as possible. This means that you can mail to the RSO, or email it to us. You can also give it to your RCM (If you are a Group Member, ask your GSR to take it to Area, and give it to your RCM).
